Four things worth knowing
None of this is meant to put you off writing. It is the same list we would read to you on the first call, and reading it here saves us both the call if the answer is no.
We bill primarily on flat fees for defined phases and on hourly for open-ended engagements. We do not take contingency on commercial cases.
The first call is no-charge and is meant to determine whether the matter is one we can take. Plan on twenty minutes.
Email is not privileged until we have a signed engagement letter. Do not send case-specific facts in the initial inquiry.
We are not currently accepting new plaintiff-side personal-injury, consumer, or family-law matters.
